When I saw the recent Facebook update from Nikon about how "a photographer is only as good as the equipment he uses", I rolled my eyes like many people did. Others got angry. To them, it smacked of camera elitism; aristocratic language out of place in the digital revolution. My guess it was written by a social media expert without the tender sensibilities of photographers in mind.
