About 80 elderly residents living on the government’s public assistance scheme and in one-room flat public housing in the area were invited to a reunion dinner paid for by an insurance and financial practitioner association in Singapore. Currently in its tenth year, the volunteers also did spring cleaning for 20 households in the estate as part of their community outreach activities. REUTERS/Edgar Su (SINGAPORE - Tags: SOCIETY)

FotoWarung | A thinker thought

We hope it is NOT too much to share this…

We have been seeing a few “cool talk” about FotoWarung.

But when we bumped into this one, We think we like what we see…!

It was a private message so it is better to keep it that way. This message was NOT sent to me. It was sent to someone and it was forwarded to me. I do not know the person but what I can tell is that the person is an educator in photography at a Malaysian university.

Thanks for a nice thought. It makes it more valuable when it comes from a “photography thinker.”

Let’s hope FotoWarung stays alive!

FotoWarung has been experiencing unrecognized sign-in attempts, AGAIN!

We, FotoWarung editors and administrators, are NOT expert in "fighting" the hijackers, and we honestly do not have any defensive mechanism at all.

We are photojournalists and we do not have intention to be expert in cyber war. We are just plain Internet users.

If FotoWarung dissapeared again, not much we can do… :-(
