POSTINGS
– You will get a “how-to” guide for posting in your email.
– Size for big pictures are 920 pixels width. This time we are doing 920 pixels width for both horizontal and vertical. Yes, the vertical pictures will look big and for those who are using little netbook, they will have to scroll to see the whole picture. I guess we have to live with it. For small pictures, they are 440 pixels width / vertical.
– The white border around the pictures and the drop shadow are automatically created by the software. I was clever enough to make life simpler for you guyz, and you have to belanjer me teh tarek for that. Basically post your entry, and the white border and the shadow are there. TERER kan…
– Let’s not worry about small pictures for now.
– I am expecting to face some teething problems, but I am hoping that after one month, we are all smooth sailing…
HOUSEKEEPING NOTES
– FYI, FotoWarung.net was built with Windows 7 and XP, so it is very much Windows based. I don’t even want to try to suggest anything on how to use it on Mac, because if I try, basically I am just playing “guessing’ games (the last time I used Mac was 25 years ago on a Mac Plus when I was at university near New Orleans). I know that Osman Adnan of The New Straits Times and Syahrin Aziz of Syahrin Aziz.com are on Mac, so they are the best people that you can refer at. Good luck.
– Please note that images cannot be saved by clicking the right button. Hopefully this will solve at least some copyrights issues. But to me, if you steal my works, you are responsible for it. My pictures are NOT sitting there meant to be stolen.
